Experienced Caregiver / Driver Needed for Elderly Gentleman with Dementia (Weekdays)

We are seeking a kind, patient, and experienced caregiver/driver to provide daily support and companionship for an elderly gentleman living with dementia
. This position requires someone who is attentive, dependable, and comfortable providing both caregiving support and transportation while ensuring safety, dignity, and emotional well-being.

• Provide daily supervision, companionship, and engagement.
• Assist with daily routines and ensure a calm, structured environment.
• Provide safe transportation to appointments, errands, and activities.
• Accompany and remain with client during outings.
• Monitor condition and report any changes to family.
• Provide gentle reminders and assistance as needed.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment at all times.

• Proven experience caring for individuals with dementia.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable driving client’s vehicle or own vehicle (to be discussed).
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Patient, calm demeanor with strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle confusion or memory loss with compassion.
• Background check required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

• Monday through Friday
• Daytime hours (exact schedule to be discussed)

• Competitive hourly rate based on experience
• Mileage reimbursement (if applicable)
