Utah Valley University is seeking a student to work under the direction of a lead technician. The student will assist with carpet extraction, furniture moves, and installing fixtures.
The schedule for this position is 9:15 pm to 1:15 am, Monday - Friday, 5 days a week, or 8:15 pm to 1:15 am, Monday - Thursday, 4 days a week.
Responsibilities- Extraction of carpets.
- Cleaning of hard floors.
- Furniture extraction.
- Must be a current UVU student.
- Must be available to work 9:15 pm to 1:15 am, Monday - Friday, or 8:15 pm to 1:15 am, Monday - Thursday.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Comfortable on lifts and ladders.
- Ability to twist, turn, kneel, and crouch for 4 hours.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and flooring equipment.
- Assist with moves, minor repairs, and installations.
- Ability to be on feet, move, bend, and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to stay on task.
