- CUSTOMER SERVICE:
This position tends to guests, and greets them as they enter and exit the restaurant. Takes POS transactions, is kind and helpful to all customers. - OPERATIONS:
Responsible for the set up of the store front, which includes turning on equipment for the day, brewing coffee, following the store opening, restocking items at EATS, and closing lists provided. Using the register. Getting breakfast and lunch food from the main kitchen. Using carts and hot boxes and other equipment. - SANITATION:
Performs store duties assigned by the manager which includes: washing service trays, cleaning work areas. sweeping and mopping, wash EATS dishes using compartment sink and /or dish room machine. General cleaning and organization of all working areas related to equipment. Take timed food temperature of food in the hot and cold wells as directed. Ensure packaged food is dated correctly and use FIFO.
Must be customer oriented, friendly, helpful, and able to follow direction from their supervisor. Required to arrive to work on time in a clean uniform and fulfill all duties assigned to them. - Attends to all other duties assigned by the manager.
- One year of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Two years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Must hold an official valid driver’s license.
- Food Handlers Permit is required within the first 30 days of employment.
- Excellent customer service.
- Must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a restaurant.
- The candidate must have the ability to read, technical procedures, and/or government regulations and written instructions and manuals.
- Ability to read, add, divide and multiply.
- Ability to solve practical problems and work with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret and act on a variety of instructions which may be furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to respond to questions from guests, co-workers and supervisors.
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
