ABOUT THE JOB:
Assist with the manufacturing of concrete products in our Perfect Plant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform tasks involving strenuous manual labor in manufacturing a variety of concrete product.
- Support crew during concrete pours. Help maintain a clean jobsite by picking up and storing tools and equipment.
- Perform materials handling and storage. Follow all safety rules and report any unsafe conditions to the Leads or supervisors.
- Regular, reliable and predictable attendance is necessary in order to perform the essential functions of this position.
- Read and follow work instructions, blueprints and drawings.
EXPERIENCE:
- Past experience working with hand tools, saws, air tools, grinders is preferred, not required.
- Experience working with concrete would be preferred, not required.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

Moving about to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
Sedentary work:
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects, including the human body.
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; and visual inspection involving small defects at distances close to the eyes.
Up to 2/3 of the time:
- Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
- Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).
Less than 1/3 of the time:
- Distance vision (clear feet at 20 feet or more)
- Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point)
- Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships)
- Ability to adjust visual focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).
The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (as in typical office or administrative work).

Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
