Accounting Manager

Job Overview:

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role involves managing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and providing financial insights to support decision‑making. The Accounting Manager will work closely with senior management, project managers, and other departments to ensure financial integrity and efficiency.

• Prepare and oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting schedules.
• Analyze financial data and present reports to senior management.
• Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
• Prepare and submit required regulatory filings and reports.

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Ensure timely and accurate month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.

• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Implement best practices and accounting software enhancements.
• Develop and update accounting policies and procedures.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training and support.
• Foster a collaborative and high‑performing work environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
• A minimum of 4–7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
