Position Details:
- PRN‑Schedule

Your goals and objectives include:
- Provide safety plans and resources for these patients if they're suitable for discharge; otherwise, coordinate with the hospital where the patient isas well as others to facilitate the patient's transfer to an acute behavioral health facility
- Handle all inbound calls for the hospital's primary intake line, and route calls internally when necessary
- Review hospital-to-hospital transfer requests and staff with on‑call psychiatrist for admission.
- Collaborate with admissions & nursing teams regarding incoming admissions.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation.
- Escalate transfer declines to direct supervisor or administrator on call.
- Actively encourage and maintain the hospital's waitlist for admissions
- Coordinate telehealth requests from contracted hospitals to dispatch on‑call telecrisis team for behavioral health assessments.
- Schedule patients for the hospital's outpatient services.
Your Qualifications and Requirements will include:
- Valid Utah CSW or LCSW license or other clinical license authorized to practice in Utah REQUIRED.
- Preferred (1) year of experience working in a psych inpatient setting and detox preferred, but NOT REQUIRED
- Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check & drug screen
- Ability to multitask with creative problem‑solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with high customer service / interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize workflow (triage)
