Title Escrow Funder

What You Will Do:

The Title Escrow Funder is responsible to efficiently and accurately balance and fund the closing real estate transaction, in accordance with state regulations and company policies and procedures. Reviews the closed file and works with Accounting to ensure all funds have been collected and posted; all required documents have been received and posted to file; all payoffs and taxes are correct;

all invoices in file have correct payee and amounts; and all necessary approval have been received for disbursement. Balances the funds received against the disbursements listed on the Closing Disclosure or HUD Statement and promptly notify parties if file is not in balance. Sets up and generates requests for outgoing wire transfers, in accordance with company policies and procedures. Reviews daily disbursement reports to ensure files are funded in a timely and efficient manner.

Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization’s Values.

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one (1) year of title insurance, banking, or mortgage industry experience. Ability to use title production or loan operating software. Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to perform in a high volume environment. Good written and verbal communication skills.

Planning and organizing abilities. Highly self-motivated and demonstrate initiative. Attention to detail to identify issues that should be escalated to title management.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and title production software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good problem solving skills and demonstrate sound judgment and reasoning skills. Attention to detail, strong time management skills, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast paced, volume production driven environment.
