Preschool Teacher

Position Overview

As a Preschool Support Teacher, you will assist the Lead Teacher in implementing a research‑based curriculum while helping maintain a structured, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment. You’ll support daily routines, hands‑on learning activities, and positive classroom management to ensure every child feels secure, confident, and excited to learn.

• Assist in planning and implementing engaging preschool curriculum and learning centers
• Support circle time, small group instruction, art, sensory play, and structured activities
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
• Follow daily schedules to ensure physical activity, rest, and intentional learning
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks and monitor children during mealtimes
• Support hygiene routines and classroom cleanliness
• Maintain positive communication with families and team members
• Ensure compliance with Utah child care licensing and safety regulations
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance

• Caring, compassionate, and patient
• Passionate about preschool and early childhood education
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Food Handler Permit
• First Aid and CPR
• 20 hours of approved child care training
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move comfortably throughout the day
