The Dental Office Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the dental office, including supervising staff, managing patient flow, handling financial and administrative tasks, and ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the dental office staff, including receptionists, dental assistants, and hygienists.
  • Manage patient flow and schedule appointments to ensure efficiency and timely care.
  • Handle financial and administrative tasks, such as managing insurance claims, billing, preparing financial reports, and maintaining patient records.
  • Purchase supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory levels.
  • Oversee office maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Communicate with patients and staff, resolving issues as they arise.
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with dental regulations and standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in dentistry and office management best practices.
  • Job Requirements:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • At least 3 years of experience working in a dental office, with knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
    • Experience with Open Dental software.
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage and supervise staff effectively.
    • Proficiency with computer programs (Office and Open Dental).
    • Well-organized and reliable.
