* Questions Position Announcement This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in coordinating events that bring the Utah Valley University community together. Working with both internal event planners and members of the public, the role supports the scheduling and facilitation of campus events through 25

Live, helping ensure that spaces, resources, and timelines are aligned. Employees in this position contribute directly to smooth, well-organized events that support academic, cultural, and community engagement across campus. The role is well suited for individuals who enjoy organization, collaboration, and clear communication. Responsibilities include managing and sharing event details through a centralized event management system and working closely with campus partners to meet client needs.

This position provides hands-on experience with event coordination and cross-departmental collaboration in a dynamic university environment, making it an excellent opportunity to build transferable skills while supporting the mission and activities of UVU. Summary of Responsibilities
* Reviews and answers all phone and electronic correspondence related to internal and external events expeditiously; manages all contractual insurance and risk management documentation, including collecting insurance liability information, sending billing information to accounts receivable, and managing the client feedback survey.
* Directs and coordinates the operational planning of events, including using premise agreements, facilities, staffing, technology, equipment, logistics, and/or other related issues.
* Provides guidance and expertise to the Director of Scheduling/Campus Events in the conception, planning, development, and implementation of events on campus.
* Ensures that event operations are cost-effective and following goals and objectives; maintains relationships with attendees and resolves or manages the resolution of significant problems and issues as they arise. Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications High School Diploma or GED required and 1 year related experience. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Knowledge
* Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
* Knowledge of 25

Live or equivalent space scheduling utilization program.
* Knowledge of Social Tables or equivalent room layout program. Skills
* Finely tuned organizational skills; accurate, detail and results oriented.
* Excellent communication skills, including writing, proof-reading and speaking.
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, both in person and by phone, with a high degree of professionalism. Abilities

* Ability to work in collaboration with others.
* Ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule resources and work assignments for event service providers.
* Demonstrated ability to plan and produce a variety of large scale, high profile public events.
