Sales Class B Route Driver

Overview

Safety-Kleen, a subsidiary of Clean Harbors located in Clackamas, OR, is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver. The role involves driving a Class B box truck, providing onsite service for parts washer machines, picking up hazardous waste, and selling products/services along a defined route.

Applicants will receive a $5,000 sign‑on bonus for holding a Class B CDL and may obtain Hazmat/Tanker endorsement upon hire. The position offers uncapped commission, a competitive pay range of $17.14–$39.81 per hour, and the potential for additional incentives.

• Ensure health and safety by complying with all safe work practices, policies and processes.
• Visit 10‑12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15‑ and 30‑gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinks.
• Up‑sell at customer locations and generate new leads.
• Service automotive repair, fleet, and manufacturing businesses.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pick‑ups in a timely manner.
• Follow all local, state and federal compliance regulations and rules.
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state, and federal requirements.
• Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Class B CDL.
• Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Perform physical functions required by the job.
• Successfully complete background check, drug test and physical.
• Meet respirator facial hair standards per OSHA 29 CFR .

• Strong customer service skills.
• Commercial route driving experience (Class C or Non‑CDL).
