Waste Serv, through its contractor OZO Services, is seeking a talented and dedicated Electromechanical Technician to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain an ongoing electric supply, steam generation and supply at all times and carry out the required troubleshooting in the minimum possible time to minimise downtime as per health and safety regulations;
- Installation & testing of pneumatic/hydraulic control systems, sensors & actuators;
- Carry out the necessary repairs and maintenance following the diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, training programs and manufacturers' specifications;
- May be required to participate in emergency on-call duty – adequate notice shall be provided when possible;
- Ensure that the Company fulfils its obligations and complies with applicable laws, regulations and standards;
- Contribute and adhere to the safety requirements of the production, delivery and distribution of steam.

About YouThe ideal candidate should have:
- MQF Level 5 - MCAST Undergraduate Diploma in Foundations of Engineering or equivalent from a qualified institution with 5 years of experience; OR
- MQF Level 4 - MCAST Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a qualified institution with 10 years of experience;
- Welding Certificate (MIG, MAW, TIG) will be considered an asset;
- Electrical Licence A & B;
- Driving Licence
B. Licence C1 will be considered an asset; - Experience in a supervisory role will be considered an asset.
