ITG Brands – a leading tobacco company and part of Imperial Brands PLC – is looking for a motivated Sales Representative to cover retail locations in Salem, Oregon.

What You Will Do
  • Make sales to retailers, securing commitments to increase stock, place orders, expand shelf space, and participate in incentive and pre‑shipment programs.
  • Identify opportunities to drive volume and market share in the assignment.
  • Optimize coverage to meet and/or exceed sales objectives and continually challenge the status quo.
  • Establish credibility and influence to maximize sales and promote company priorities.
  • Gather and report retail insights to strengthen the team and the brand.
  • Sell company products, programs, and promotions to retailers.
  • Develop selling plans that resonate with retailers and encompass conceptual selling themes across all categories.
  • Demonstrate product and industry knowledge to effectively market and sell products.
  • Collaborate with division resources to identify actionable sales opportunities.
  • Deliver all assigned retail execution objectives and key company priorities.
  • Develop and maintain strong retail partnerships.
  • Influence retailers to support company sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Use consumer and retailer insights to align product offerings.
  • Allocate resources to maximize time allocation on a store‑by‑store basis.
  • Ensure alignment to retail cycle plans and coverage objectives.
  • Optimize assignment coverage designs for strategic objectives.
  • Ensure placement and services of all merchandising fixtures and displays.
  • Maintain retail partnership agreements and promotional programs.
  • Gain retailer acceptance of the “ITG Portal” for reimbursement and tracking.
  • Share best‑practice approaches with the Division Sales Manager.
  • Solicit and report customer and competitive insights.
  • Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum age 21 years.
  • Valid driver’s license issued by state of residence.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, problem‑situation analysis, time and task management, multitasking ability, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Ability to make sales, communicate to a broad audience, maintain relationships, demonstrate critical thinking, work with diverse populations, and prioritize assignments.
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field with at least 1 year of related sales experience.
Work Environment and Physical Demand
  • Must live within assignment boundary or within pre‑approved mileage, or be willing to relocate.
  • Requires moderate physical effort: occasional lifting/moving light objects (10–50 lbs.).
  • Ability to bend, crouch, stretch, climb, or reach in retail environments.
  • Walks, sits, or stands for extended periods.
  • Travel required based on assignment needs.
  • Occasional exposure to noise, dust, or weather.
  • Operates in a retail and wholesale environment.
  • Handles prolonged machine operation including vehicle, computer, and keyboard equipment.
