Team Member, Retail

Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and dependable Team Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, work well with others, comfortable in fast paced environment and self motivated. Reliability is a MUST. This role involves daily operations at the front end, general store upkeep, stocking shelves, working in the meat room, and delivering an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Job Title: Team Member
Location: Union Market – Union, OR
Pay Rate: Starting at $14.50/hr (higher DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service to our shoppers
• Working the cash registers at the front counter
• Accurately count and handle money/change.
• Stocking, organizing shelves, and working out freight.
• Handling raw meats and maintaining food safety standards.
• Staying on task and help maintain a positive, productive work environment.
• Reliability is a MUST.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities and a team-focused mindset.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks, including stocking and lifting products. Freight boxes commonly are less than 25 lbs, but some items up to 50 lbs do come in.

Schedule:

Full-time & Part-time positions available with varied scheduling, including some evenings and weekends.

Starting wage $14.50/hr (with potential for higher pay based on experience).
