Positions Overview
Three postdoctoral positions in the public engagement arena of The Agreement on a Green Denmark (“Green Tripartite”) at the University of Copenhagen. The project is a collaboration between the Queen Mary Center, the Department of Psychology, the Copenhagen Center for Social Data Science (SODAS) and the Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies.
Project PurposeGreen Mandate seeks to strengthen Danish society’s capacity to implement the Green Tripartite while mitigating public contestation. The project combines national and local surveys, systematic media analysis and qualitative studies to provide ongoing knowledge on public support and contestation.
Positions- Two Postdoctoral Fellows – Attitudinal data (Department of Psychology)
- Postdoc 1:
In‑depth qualitative research in local Green Tripartites, interviews with participants, facilitators and decision‑makers, analysis of engagement effectiveness. - Postdoc 2:
Quantitative research through national and local surveys, survey experiments to test communication strategies.
- Postdoc 1:
- One Postdoctoral Fellow – Media monitoring (SODAS)
- Postdoc 3:
Development of public debate monitoring through conventional and social media, analysis of large text‑based material such as Infomedia, X, Facebook.
- Postdoc 3:
24‑month appointments with a desired start date of 1 June 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Candidate Qualifications- PhD level qualification in a relevant field by start date.
- Good grasp of relevant academic literature.
- Strong academic writing skills.
- Interest in impact‑oriented research.
- Experience developing and applying qualitative, quantitative, or data‑analytic research designs relevant to the position.
- Experience with coding and data management in R, Python, SPSS or qualitative data packages such as NVivo or Atlas.ti, as applicable.
- Interest and experience collaborating closely with stakeholders and developing engaging communication products.
- Experience collaborating across disciplines and methods.
- Experience with project management and leadership for research assistants and/or student assistants.
- Strong Danish and English language skills.

Terms in accordance with the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). Salary range starts at DKK 39 200 (~EUR 5 150) plus 18.07 % pension contribution. Salary supplements negotiable on an annual basis.
