Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to a primarily geriatric population.

The RN will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while maintaining professional nursing standards.

The role also involves directing patient education and overseeing ancillary staff.

• Deliver comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation tailored to a geriatric population.
• Lead patient teaching and direct the activities of support staff, ensuring adherence to professional nursing standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Provide care in a fast-paced environment, applying critical thinking and clinical expertise, particularly for patients with complex health needs.

• Minimum of 1 years' experience as a Registered Nurse (Emergency Department experience preferred).
• Critical care experience is highly desirable.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications required.
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred.
