Surgical Services Nurse Director

Leads a high-energy perioperative team that delivers outstanding care in a fast-paced environment.

• Lead charge nurses, clinical coordinators, educators, and perioperative supervisors.
• Collaborate with anesthesia leaders, surgeons, sterile processing, and perioperative business teams.
• Oversee operating room preoperative services, PACU, endoscopy, and sterile processing.
• Support a fast-paced professional unit with strong physician partnerships and skilled technologists.
• Advance education, mentorship, competency validation, and evidence-based practice across perioperative teams.
• Drive quality improvement programs and reliable clinical pathways that elevate outcomes.
• Manage budgeting, staffing optimization, block schedule governance, supply chain, and physician relations.
• Ensure compliance with an active Oregon RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN; a master’s degree preferred within twenty-four months.

• Experienced RN leader with demonstrated ability to impact and grow a perioperative service.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary perioperative teams and clinical pathways.
• Knowledge of modern surgical technology, enhanced recovery pathways, and patient safety standards.
