Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services designs, plans, delivers, and operates all AWS global infrastructure. We support every AWS data center and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that keep our customers’ cloud uninterrupted. As part of our Data Center Global Services team, you will join a diverse group of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers to deliver the highest safety and security standards while expanding capacity at the lowest cost.
Key Responsibilities- Work in the field at data center sites, supporting multiple sites under Deployment and/or Service.
- Perform point‑to‑point checkouts between field devices and controllers.
- Execute first‑line diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instrumentation associated with the Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS).
- Configure network settings and perform communication testing between third‑party devices and controllers or servers.
- Calibrate sensors and read electrical schematics and control panel drawings.
- Supervise low‑voltage electrical contractors during wiring and installation of field devices.
- Support commissioning and system‑level testing, providing red‑lined drawings and recommendations based on field work.
- Assist in root‑cause analysis during testing and commissioning.
- Ensure all personnel on site follow proper safety methodology.
- Work on‑call and on a rotating schedule, responding to after‑hours emergencies.
- Use ticketing systems, conduct root‑cause analysis, and prioritize tasks.
- Walk job sites on uneven terrain and work at heights using ladders.
- Use hands and fingers for handling or feeling tasks, and reach with hands and arms.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required.
- Lift or move up to 49 pounds alone; participate in group lifts for 50 pounds or more.
- Work shifts longer than eight hours in duration.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical, military, trade school diploma, or associate degree with at least one year’s experience in industrial instrumentation/controls or equivalent electrical or mechanical operations.
- At least one year of experience with computer components and operating systems.
- At least one year of experience with mission‑critical low‑ and medium‑voltage electrical and/or mechanical systems.
- One or more years of data center engineering or experience in mission‑critical facilities (e.g., hospital, military, public safety).
- International Society of Automation (ISA) Certified Controls System Technician (CCST) Level I or higher.
- Basic understanding of industrial controls systems, controllers, and programming, including troubleshooting of analog, discrete, and networked input/output field signals.

The base salary range for this position is $32.00–$57.00 USD hourly. Your total compensation will include sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and a comprehensive benefits package.
