Maintaining production equipment in a highly precise manufacturing environment. This position entails accomplishing all preventative maintenance, unscheduled maintenance and installations on a variety of vacuum, temperature control and exhaust management systems. Maintaining and replacing equipment, tools and supplies when used, providing written documentation of repairs, palletising/depalletising equipment and interfacing with the customer.

• De‑palletise and preflight vacuum pumps for use by the customer.
• Perform vacuum pump preventative maintenance.
• Deinstall failed pumps and install rebuilt pumps.
• Prepare vacuum pumps for shipment.
• Work with customer personnel to troubleshoot vacuum issues with chambers, forelines and vacuum pumps.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Gas Abatement Systems.

• Two (2) or more years experience interacting with customers preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with vacuum pumps such as Edwards, Ebara, Alcatel and Leybold dry, rotary vane and boosters preferred.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• College or specific relevant coursework preferred.
• Industry experience preferred.

• Ability to read, analyse and interpret written documents.
• Ability to respond in a professional manner to common inquiries.
• Ability to prepare reports and write business correspondence.

• Regularly required to talk and hear.
• Stand or sit for extended periods, walk.
• Use hands to type, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• Routinely required to stoop, kneel or crouch.
• Frequently lift or move up to 35 pounds.

Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics are those of a production facility.

Salary: $30.00/hr
