Maintaining production equipment in a highly precise manufacturing environment. This position entails accomplishing all preventative maintenance, unscheduled maintenance and installations on a variety of vacuum, temperature control and exhaust management systems. Maintaining and replacing equipment, tools and supplies when used, providing written documentation of repairs, palletising/depalletising equipment and interfacing with the customer.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- De‑palletise and preflight vacuum pumps for use by the customer.
- Perform vacuum pump preventative maintenance.
- Deinstall failed pumps and install rebuilt pumps.
- Prepare vacuum pumps for shipment.
- Work with customer personnel to troubleshoot vacuum issues with chambers, forelines and vacuum pumps.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Gas Abatement Systems.
- Two (2) or more years experience interacting with customers preferred.
- Hands‑on experience with vacuum pumps such as Edwards, Ebara, Alcatel and Leybold dry, rotary vane and boosters preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- College or specific relevant coursework preferred.
- Industry experience preferred.
- Ability to read, analyse and interpret written documents.
- Ability to respond in a professional manner to common inquiries.
- Ability to prepare reports and write business correspondence.
- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- Stand or sit for extended periods, walk.
- Use hands to type, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- Routinely required to stoop, kneel or crouch.
- Frequently lift or move up to 35 pounds.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics are those of a production facility.
Salary: $30.00/hr
