Underwriting Services Representative

. This role supports the underwriting division by managing new business submission intake, midterm policy changes, and renewals across all lines of business.

• Accurately process new business submissions, entering risk and exposure information into the rating system.
• Complete Market Reservation, OFAC, and Experian checks.
• Prepare new business and renewal accounts, including file set‑up, web searches, and entry of loss information.
• Execute endorsement, cancellation, and reinstatement triage and processing within defined underwriting guidelines.
• Process Broker of Service/Broker of Record requests.
• Bind/issue new business payroll service submissions.
• Handle tasks associated with new products or vertical launches.
• Process auto and cargo filings.

• BS/BA college degree or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge or experience with commercial lines insurance is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent customer service skills.
• Team player with strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Accountability, dependability, and problem‑solving skills.
• Commitment to quality.
