Data Analyst, Data Science Manager, Business Systems/ Tech Analyst
Overview
Working alongside our US based Client Experience and Media team colleagues the Data Analytics Lead (US) will act as the primary data capability representative for US based clients. You will own data analytics requirement collection and report delivery. Working alongside our analyst and infrastructure team (based in the UK) you will provide consultancy and support the teams with insight narratives. You will also build a strong working knowledge of our insight data products so that you can present them, identifying opportunities and ensure that data products are used effectively to drive client value.
In the short term, this role will operate as a sole US-based lead, requiring a high degree of autonomy, judgement, and client confidence. In the initial phase, this role will combine senior client leadership with selective hands-on delivery to ensure continuity and service quality while US capability matures. Longer term this role will provide the right candidate with the opportunity to build a team and build the capability in-market.
This is not a delivery-only role. It combines analytics leadership, client engagement, and commercial awareness, while leveraging UK-based senior data analyst, engineering and platform teams for execution.
- Act as the senior data and analytics contact for US-based clients (including all US owned media accounts)
- Lead client conversations on performance, insight, measurement frameworks, and data-led decision making – working with appropriate specialist teams.
- Confidently represent analytics and data capabilities in senior client meetings, including live calls, reviews, and planning sessions.
- Translate complex data into clear, commercially relevant narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
- Own the quality, relevance, and interpretation of analytics outputs for US accounts (utilising the capabilities of senior analysts on the team where required)
- Define insight questions, success metrics, and reporting requirements in partnership with client teams.
- Ensure dashboards and reports are fit for purpose, actionable, and aligned to client objectives – briefing the engineering and platform teams where appropriate.
- Provide guidance on methodology, benchmarks, and interpretation rather than just outputs.
- Build, maintain, and iterate client dashboards where required, particularly during onboarding or change.
- Act as first-line triage for analytics and dashboard issues for US clients, resolving directly where possible and escalating to UK engineering when needed.
- Perform routine QA and sense-checking of data outputs to ensure reliability before client-facing use.
- Support user access, permissions, and basic platform configuration for US accounts.
- Act as the bridge between US clients and UK-based data engineering and analytics teams.
- Shape requirements, prioritise work, and ensure clear handover and documentation.
- Ensure work is delivered efficiently without unnecessary rework or ambiguity.
- Escalate risks, gaps, or delivery issues early and pragmatically.
