Position: Workday Testing Lead (Operations & Policy Analyst 4)
* Design and manage testing strategies for Workday system changes; oversee test execution, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
* Partner with Workday administrators, SMEs, and business analysts to analyze impacts, coordinate testing, and validate solutions.
* Validate that all releases meet requirements before going live.
* Use root cause analysis and lessons learned to refine testing processes and improve system reliability.
* Manage the automated regression testing suite to identify gaps, build new test cases, and support automation goals.
* Respond to inquiries from leadership and external oversight agencies with clear documentation, reports, and presentations.
* Contribute to strategic improvements, standardize testing approaches, and enhance automation across Workday Oregon.
* Managing and creating test plans and testing groups
* Strong knowledge of Oregon state government structure and operations (all branches)
* Expertise in modern testing management and documentation best practices
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to effectively train others in both small and large group settings
* Experience in writing reports, ideally within Workday
* Strong analytical skills and experience with data management
* General knowledge of process improvement tools (e.g., Lean, RPI events)
* Deep understanding of SaaS systems;
Workday experience strongly preferred
