Overview
We are seeking a PhD-level Translational Research Scientist to support method transfer and sample management activities with a small Biotech. This is an opportunity within Immunology, with a company who have had very positive Phase 1
Bs and embarking on Phase II as well as a solid early pipeline. This role will focus on ensuring sample integrity, coordinating with external vendors, and supporting translational research programs from early discovery through clinical development.
- Lead and support method transfer to internal and external laboratories
- Oversee sample management and tracking, ensuring integrity and compliance
- Act as primary liaison for external vendors/CROs
- Manage logistics related to biological samples (collection, storage, shipment)
- Support translational research efforts bridging lab and clinical teams
- Ensure documentation aligns with regulatory and quality standards
- PhD required (life sciences or related field)
- Strong laboratory background
- Industry experience in biotech or pharmaceutical settings
- Hands-on experience with method transfer and sample management
- Experience working with external vendors/CROs
- Background in translational research highly preferred
