Translational Research Scientist; Method Transfer & Sample Management

Overview

We are seeking a PhD-level Translational Research Scientist to support method transfer and sample management activities with a small Biotech. This is an opportunity within Immunology, with a company who have had very positive Phase 1

Bs and embarking on Phase II as well as a solid early pipeline. This role will focus on ensuring sample integrity, coordinating with external vendors, and supporting translational research programs from early discovery through clinical development.

• Lead and support method transfer to internal and external laboratories
• Oversee sample management and tracking, ensuring integrity and compliance
• Act as primary liaison for external vendors/CROs
• Manage logistics related to biological samples (collection, storage, shipment)
• Support translational research efforts bridging lab and clinical teams
• Ensure documentation aligns with regulatory and quality standards

• PhD required (life sciences or related field)
• Strong laboratory background
• Industry experience in biotech or pharmaceutical settings
• Hands-on experience with method transfer and sample management
• Experience working with external vendors/CROs
• Background in translational research highly preferred
