Empowering Lives to Grow Big People!
We are a One-on-One Attendant Care agency, providing ADL (Activities of Daily Living) and Community Supports for our customers in their own homes. We strive to inspire and support the unique individuals and families that we serve, empowering them to participate in their communities and live their best lives.
Job Summary & DescriptionEmpowered Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team. In this role you will build meaningful relationships that inspire confidence, promote independence, and support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living fulfilling, joyful lives.
As a DSP, you will work one‑on‑one with each customer to understand their unique needs, support them in achieving their goals, and provide care in a positive, encouraging, and safe environment. Our DSPs serve not only as caregivers but also as mentors, advocates, and trusted companions for the individuals we support.
We are looking for a DSP who is patient, attentive, and medically skilled. This individual requires a lot of hands‑on care, including administering medications, safely assisting with physical movement, and responding calmly during seizures. He experiences pain regularly, so keeping him comfortable and supported is a key part of the role.
He does best with clear, simple communication and limited choices—offering one or two options at a time helps him feel secure.
This is a deeply rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s daily life through compassionate care and genuine connection. If you are reliable, caring, and confident in providing medical support, we would love to hear from you.
