Locums Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) – Pendleton, OR

We’re seeking an experienced, hospital-based CNM for a locum's assignment at a well-established women’s clinic in Umatilla County, Oregon. This is a great opportunity for providers who value strong locums pay, a balanced schedule, and a slower‑paced, outdoor‑focused lifestyle

Schedule & Assignment

• Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Weeknight call + 1 weekend (24‑hour) call/month
• ~10 shifts/month, full‑time
• Start ASAP upon credentialing

Scope of Practice

• Prenatal care, routine OB, natural and emergency deliveries (with OB/GYN support)
• Postpartum care and patient education
• Women’s health, contraception management (IUD/Nexplanon), assist with C‑sections

Compensation

• 24‑hour call: $3,200–$3,500 (malpractice included)
• Holiday call: $4,800–$5,250
• Orientation paid (½ rate after 8 hrs)

Requirements

• Board‑certified CNM, active OR license
• Hospital‑based midwife experience required
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, NRP, DEA
• No new grads or home‑birth‑only providers
