• De-palletize and preflight vacuum pumps for use by the customer.
• Experience working on gas and chemical abatement equipment including experience with scrubber and burn abatement.
• Proficient in working around gas and chemical byproducts, piping, blowers and fluid pumps.
• Perform vacuum pump preventative maintenance.
• To troubleshoot, diagnose, and remedy where possible field equipment faults and errors.
• Deinstall failed pumps and install rebuilt pumps.
• Prepare vacuum pumps for shipment.
• Work with customer personnel to troubleshoot vacuum issues with chambers, fore lines and vacuum pumps.
• Proficient in troubleshooting electronic components, sensors, switches, control reads, and PLCs.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Gas Abatement Systems.
• Use proper PPE to work in the vicinity of hazardous materials.
• Collect, develop, and formalize information for proposals of all replacement and repair opportunities and forward to the Regional Field Service Manager.
