Professional Review Engineer - Land Development

** To be considered for this role, you
** must
** have the following:
*** Must be a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Florida
*** or
* ** have the ability to obtain within 12 months from the date of hire.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering or a technically related engineering field
*** with
* ** 4(+) years of related Civil Engineering or infrastructure construction/inspection experience. OR:
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
*** with
* ** 3(+) years of related Civil Engineering or infrastructure construction/inspection experience.
** The*
* * ideal
* ** candidate has the following knowledge, skills, and/or abilities:
*** Experience with Sarasota County Land Development Regulations, Engineering Manuals, Design Standards, and Specifications.
* Background in subdivision/site design and review, roadway design, and construction management or oversight.
* Knowledge of modern public works and engineering practices, including materials testing, surveying, project stakeout, and inspections.
* Relevant certifications such as FEMA Training, Stormwater Erosion & Sediment Control, Work Zone Safety, and Maintenance of Traffic (MOT).
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn systems like SharePoint, ArcGIS, and Workday.
** Starting Pay Range:** $74,713.60 - $89,000.00, based on experience.
