High School English Teacher

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time high school English teacher at Bethany High School. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and have a strong background in English literature and language arts.

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and standards
• Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that fosters student learning and growth
• Use a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for students
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning
• Attend staff meetings and school events as required

• Bachelor s degree in English or a related field (Master s degree preferred)
• Oklahoma Teaching certification required in English or related field
• Strong knowledge of English literature and language arts
• Experience teaching high school students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
