Job Type: Casual, Part-time. These are part-time jobs where you can work up to 1,400 hours in a year. Employees in these positions serve se jobs are called Community Service Aide I's by the City of Portland.

Benefits: These jobs are not eligible for benefits.

Youth Conservation Crew - Youth Crew Member (Ages 14+) - $18.00 per hour

Work in nature completing restoration projects in Portland Parks natural Areas, community gardens, and trails.

Daily

Schedule:

During the summer work Tuesday - Friday, June 23 - August 7, 2026. 8:30am - 2:30pm. During the school year, you can sign up to work on Saturdays and on school holidays.

Nature Day Camp - Teen Educator I (Ages 16+) - $18.00 per hour

Work with children ages 5 – 12 in local parks, leading games, activities, and exploring nature. Help with After Care.

Daily

Schedule:

June 15 through August 18, 2026;
Monday through Friday; 8:00am to 4:00pm, or 9:30am - 5:30pm (if you help with After Care).
