Summary

We are seeking a full-time Geography teacher for the 7th grade at Bethany Middle School. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and the ability to create an engaging and challenging learning environment for students.

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and state standards.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth.
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades.
• Communicate regularly with parents and colleagues to ensure student success.
• Participate in school-wide events and professional development opportunities.
• Attend faculty meetings and collaborate with other teachers to improve instruction.

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification in Geography or Social Studies.
• Experience teaching middle school students preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
• Knowledge of current educational practices and technology.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
