Digital Marketing Director Job Responsibilities Include
- Collaborate with brand teams to strategize, build, and monitor campaigns in Meta, Google (SEM), Instacart, Doordash, Tik Tok, and more self-service media platforms as needed across SMWE’s portfolio of Washington wineries
- Continuously monitor and optimize active campaigns, providing insights, learnings and suggestions to enhance media performance, and ensuring budgets are spent efficiently and are on target
- Ensure best practices in creative optimization for campaigns
- Implement A/B testing opportunities to gain learnings and insights
- Collaborate with brand and DTC teams to understand business objectives to develop campaigns with the most optimal results
- Lead data-driven strategy for ecommerce initiatives, with focus on E2E consumer journey
- Build SEO strategy across websites
- Create consumer segmentation and targeting processes
- Analyze digital KPI dashboards and reporting to demonstrate campaign ROI
- Keep current with new digital platforms and technologies to identify test-and-learn opportunities
- Lead team of digital designers and oversee execution of all branded digital creative content
- Support Social Media Manager in overseeing paid/ organic social media content strategy and execution
- Collaborate with sales team to execute national and regional-specific digital media campaigns in support of commercial objectives
- Determine digital team’s outsourcing needs and manage agency and contractor relationships
- Work closely with compliance to maintain policies governing the wine industry and SMWE best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, and project management; experience with luxury consumer products highly desirable, along with a passion for wine.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, work independently, think creatively, and drive solutions with initiative.
- Proficient in mid-level photo retouching and image manipulation.
- Solid understanding of HTML/CSS and responsive/adaptive web design principles.
- Exceptional communication and writing skills, advanced proficiency in MS Office, and strong Excel expertise.
- Familiarity with modern technical standards and best practices.
- History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
