Audio Engineer

Overview

We are partnering with our multimedia production client in the wellness industry to recruit an Audio Engineer to join their team on a permanent and fully remote basis here in the US
. This organization is known for curating compelling multimedia content and experiences, and they are looking to supplement their current team with an expert who can shape the audio experience of these products. You will walk the line between technical and creative, owning full-cycle studio production as well as post-production work for existing live content. You will edit, mix and master audio for these assets, which include recordings of live events and scripted long and short-form audio and video pieces.

Your tactical work should be supplemented by a focus on project management, process improvement and driving AI integration and adoption into this workflow.

To be a fit, you should bring a minimum of 3+ years of audio engineering, sound design and/or post-production experience in a similar environment, with experience producing video and multimedia content for both scripted and live recorded content types. Pro Tools expertise is required, and experience with AI tools for audio processes or workflow management is highly preferred.

• Owning full-cycle studio audio production as well as post-production work for existing live content and scripted content projects
• Edit, mix and master audio for these content projects, including recordings of live events, educational videos, scripted video and audio productions and more
• Leverage creative expertise to refine emotional impact and tone of projects, with a focus on audio-only and A/V work, providing personal input on things like music and other treatments
• Identify opportunities to improve A/V department workflows, vetting AI tools for audio production, post-production and/or workflow management;
  Aid the team and organization in adopting AI-enabled workflows
• Work across the larger production and creative division to collect recorded content from events and similar, and align with these cross-functional teams to ensure cohesion in voice, feel and tone across the entire brand footprint

• 3+ years of audio engineering, sound design and/or post-production experience
• Experience in a corporate production team producing scripted, recorded live and similar video and audio content
• Experience in podcast or audio-specific production projects, required
• Experience in the health, wellness or similar industries, preferred;
  Passion for this space, strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or other advanced education in production, audio or sound design, preferred but flexible for additional experience
• Expertise in Pro Tools and project management systems, required
• Experience leveraging or implementing AI tools for audio production or workflow optimization, highly preferred
