Role OverviewWe are seeking a Demand Planner 3 to develop and manage end-to-end, bottom-up merchandise plans that ensure consumer demand is met while maintaining a healthy pull market. This role is ideal for a collaborative, detail-oriented planner who can optimize sales, margin, and sustainable growth across the marketplace.
Successful candidates are comfortable navigating ambiguity, solving complex business challenges, and using consumer and marketplace insights to drive informed assortment decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and own a robust assortment planning framework, including product depth, flow, and SKU efficiency
- Build bottom-up forecasts to inform pre-season planning decisions
- Conduct weekly sales analysis to identify risks and opportunities
- Partner closely with marketplace teams and retail partners to manage ongoing performance
- Deliver post-season assortment insights and actionable recommendations to key stakeholders
- Apply consumer and marketplace insights to curate optimal product assortments
- Work closely with cross-functional account teams
- Engage with retailer buying and planning teams in weekly and seasonal planning discussions
- Collaborate with peer planners to drive alignment, execution, and results across the business
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Sales, Retail, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of retail planning experience in a vertical retail or wholesale environment
- Merchandise or assortment planning experience strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of retail math
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and operate in a matrixed environment
- Minimum 2–3 years of assortment planning experience required
- Team is currently transitioning and training on the o9 planning system
; prior experience with o9 is a strong plus - Onsite presence required
