Position Overview
The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of freight while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations and company standards. Drivers represent our company on the road and play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks to transport freight
- Haul agricultural commodities, equipment, and general freight
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Secure loads properly and ensure safe transport
- Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Keep trucks clean and report maintenance issues promptly
- Represent the company professionally at all times
- Valid CDL Class A License
- Clean driving record preferred
- Ability to pass DOT drug and alcohol screening
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Experience hauling freight or agricultural commodities preferred
- Maxi or freight hauling experience is a plus
- 28% of load pay
- Additional 2% performance bonus
