Hourly rate: $25.00 to $30.00 (to be negotiated). Part‑time.
Responsibilities- Report delays, mechanical problems and accidents.
- Direct passengers during emergency evacuation procedures.
- Operate para‑transit vehicles.
- Ensure para‑transit passengers board vehicle safely.
- Deal with public.
- Perform pre‑trip, en route and post‑trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
- Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
- Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (ambulances, emergency vehicles and buses with fewer than 24 passengers)
- Driver’s Licence (Class 2 or B or
C)
- School bus driver, intercity bus driver, tour and charter bus driver, para‑transit driver.
- Local, regional.
- Security and safety: criminal record check, driving record check (abstract).
- Travel expenses not paid by employer. Vehicle supplied by employer.
