Overview
Morrow County School District has an opening for a Head Cook at Heppner Elementary School in Heppner, OR.

The primary responsibility of the Head Cook is to manage, participate in the operation of the school kitchen, and prepare meals at the elementary and/or secondary schools. The Head Cook oversees the other Nutrition Services employees assigned to the building and plans the menus for the building programs. High school diploma or equivalent. One or more years of experience in quantity food preparation and kitchen maintenance.
Must be knowledgeable in the sanitary methods of food preparation and handling, baking, and correct methods of food storage. Must possess a Food Handler Card.
