• Design and develop software while improving existing code for efficiency and bug detection.
• Write unit tests and validate software against acceptance criteria.
• Conduct impact analysis to identify changes across multiple applications.
• Lead code reviews and communicate application changes effectively.
• Mentor and coach less experienced software engineers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience or comparable depth of experience.
• Skilled in developing omnichannel conversational flows using Genesys Cloud CX Architect.
• Strong understanding of one or more object-oriented programming languages and design patterns.
• Practical experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Agile/SCRUM.

• Experience in a lead role overseeing technical direction of a software engineering team.
• Proficient in CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.
• Advanced understanding of IDEs and ability to leverage features for improved performance.
• Experience in creating REST API documentation using Swagger or similar tools.
• Financial services industry experience.
