• Define the x402 protocol standard for internet-native payment systems
• Build and maintain x402 related products including the x402 SDK and onchain payment protocols
• Collaborate with open-source contributors to evolve the standard through discussions, issues, and PR reviews
• Work closely with frontend engineers to ensure seamless integration of backend systems
• Contribute to the development of scalable and secure software solutions

• 6+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on backend development
• Proven experience in building scalable and secure software and SDKs
• Proficiency in Golang, Typescript, and Python
• Knowledge of Web3 technologies, stable coins, smart contracts, and wallets
• Experience working collaboratively with frontend engineers

• Experience with AI and emerging AI protocol standards (MCP, A2A)
• Track record of building and maintaining impactful open-source projects
