• Lead the architecture and development of a high-throughput, real-time Eventing platform for enterprise customers
• Design and build the next generation of serverless compute capabilities on the Samsara platform
• Guide the evolution of the external API framework to ensure robustness and usability
• Act as a technical leader, mentoring engineers and influencing architectural decisions
• Collaborate with Product Management and enterprise customers to create a best-in-class developer experience

• 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering
• Deep expertise in high-throughput data streaming systems using Kafka or similar technologies
• Demonstrable experience with serverless compute architectures, such as AWS Lambda
• Strong experience in designing and maintaining large-scale, public-facing APIs, preferably GraphQL
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

• Experience with managed event streaming platforms (e.g., Amazon MSK, Azure Event Hubs)
• Familiarity with cloud data warehousing solutions like Snowflake
