Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is tasked with maintaining, repairing, and coordinating repairs for various equipment, including spreaders, power boxes, tenders, and fertilizer trailers. This role supports facility operations through equipment maintenance, tracking, documentation, customer service, and collaboration with other departments.

• Maintain, repair, and schedule repairs for equipment and trailers.
• Identify and report equipment, process, quality, and material issues.
• Safely operate forklifts, loaders, aerial lifts, and related equipment.
• Maintain wash pad, wastewater collection system, and facility cleanliness.
• Track equipment and supply inventory digitally, including rentals.
• Support the maintenance team on major projects and during high-demand periods.
• Provide customer service via phone, email, and text; coordinate pickup/drop-off of equipment or fertilizer orders.
• Complete required business and regulatory documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace; assist other departments as needed.

• Mechanical repair and maintenance experience.
• Preventive maintenance expertise.
• MIG Welding skills.
• Engine repair knowledge.
• Proficiency in hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Automotive and diesel repair experience.
• Fleet and vehicle maintenance.

• Experience in equipment tracking and inventory management.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery safely.

The position is primarily based at one site, though travel to other sites may occasionally be required. A company truck is provided for such travel. The work environment can be dirty and dusty, so comfort in such conditions is necessary. A clean DMV record is required for potential site travel.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, OR.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 – $32.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Saint Paul,OR.

This position is anticipated to close on Feb 23, 2026.
