Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic located in Madras, OR. The Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic will be responsible for conducting inspections, maintaining, repairing, and modifying aircraft to ensure airworthiness and optimal performance. Duties include troubleshooting technical issues, performing system checks, and adhering to all applicable FAA regulations and safety guidelines. This role requires collaboration with other team members to ensure quality assurance and timely maintenance of aircraft.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Power Plant systems and Aircraft Systems maintenance
- Demonstrated expertise in Aircraft Maintenance and Airworthiness inspections
- Experience repairing and maintaining aircraft with a focus on ensuring performance and safety
- Strong understanding of FAA regulations, technical manuals, and safety protocols
- Certified Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective teamwork and communication abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training is a plus
- Willingness to work in a physical environment and adhere to tight deadlines
