Sales Team Overview

We are looking for driven individuals to join our sales team as a Retail Sales Manager, responsible for fostering relationships with retail customers while maintaining our core values of integrity, transparency, and service.

Sales Representative Overview

The Rocky Mountain North Retail Sales Manager will drive retail growth by acquiring new business, supporting existing retail clients, and increasing the reach of Azure Standard’s products in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. You will serve as a key liaison between Azure Standard and retail customers, promoting our organic and sustainable product lines while ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with retail customers, helping them succeed while achieving sales and profit targets. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling Azure Standard’s organic and sustainable food products.
  • Drive sales growth in assigned retail accounts by promoting new and existing products, managing in‑store promotions, and collaborating on product placement.
  • Identify and acquire new retail partners, focusing on expanding Azure Standard’s presence in health‑food stores, co‑ops, grocery chains, and other retail outlets.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to roll out in‑store demos, promotions, and sales materials designed to increase sales and enhance brand visibility.
  • Provide retailers with in‑depth product knowledge, showcasing the benefits of Azure Standard’s organic and sustainable product range and driving adoption of new items through educational initiatives.
  • Manage the financial performance of your accounts, including sales growth, credits, and promotional budgets, ensuring all activities are aligned with business profitability goals.
  • Provide regular insights on market trends, sales achievements, and customer feedback to align strategies with the company’s objectives.
  • Work with sales leadership to ensure the smooth execution of retail programs and customer satisfaction.
  • Anticipate retail customer needs by accurately forecasting demand for new and existing products, keeping in mind seasonal trends and promotional plans.
  • Prepare sales reports, quotes, and customer proposals; process customer credits and pickup requests, maintaining accurate sales records and ensuring transparency in transactions.
  • Attend and participate in company functions, customer events, and sales meetings; engage in continuous professional development to stay current on product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and other events to promote Azure Standard, build relationships, and expand your retail customer base.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in retail sales, particularly within the natural and organic product space.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build and maintain relationships with retail partners.
  • Experience in territory management, account growth, and business development.
  • Ability to travel within your territory to meet with retail customers and attend industry events.
  • Strong understanding of organic, sustainable, and health‑conscious products.
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple accounts.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales tracking tools, Google Drive, and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a territory, and achieve sales targets.
  • Willingness to work non‑traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel within the assigned territory.
