Position: Fuel Attendant/Customer Service Rep.

This role supports day‑to‑day operations of the store and fueling station, ensuring safe and efficient fuel dispensing, excellent customer service, and a clean, welcoming environment.

Base Pay Range

$15.55/hr – $15.55/hr

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Customer Service & Sales – Greet customers promptly, provide a welcoming experience, communicate promotions, assist with fueling and propane dispensing, and handle inquiries or concerns.
  • Fueling Operations & Safety – Operate fuel pumps and propane dispensers safely, verify fuel types, monitor for leaks or hazards, follow emergency shut‑off procedures, and maintain required training and certifications.
  • Cash Handling & Register Operations – Process cash and card transactions accurately, perform cash counts and drawer balancing, verify restricted sales identifications, and comply with loss‑prevention procedures.
  • Store & Fueling Area Maintenance – Keep station interiors and exteriors clean, restock beverage stations, sweep pump areas, maintain restrooms and entryways, and report maintenance issues or hazards.
  • Teamwork & Operational Support – Collaborate with team members, assist with deliveries and stocking, support special projects or promotions, and follow all company policies and operational standards.
Education and Work Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Previous experience in retail, fuel service, or customer service environment (preferred)
  • Basic understanding of fuel safety and compliance procedures (preferred)
  • Ability to complete propane training (required by state/local regulation)
Skill Set
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Dependable, self‑motivated, and able to follow direction
  • Basic computer and POS system proficiency

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 pounds
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain
  • Regular exposure to fuel fumes and cleaning chemicals (PPE provided)
  • Must work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
