Timenow, LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced QA/QC Electrical Quality Technician to enhance our team. If you have a strong eye for detail and are passionate about ensuring the quality and reliability of mechanical products through thorough testing and inspection, we want to hear from you!
As a QA/QC Electrical Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of quality for our electrical systems. This position is based in Wauna, OR, where candidates must reside within a 60-mile radius. The salary range for this position is $26.00-$38.00/hr.
Key Responsibilities- Overseeing inspections and tests during maintenance performed by contractors on electrical systems to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identifying and documenting defects or non-conformities and working with maintenance and engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
- Ensuring execution of quality control procedures, test plans, and NCR processes.
- Supporting root cause analysis for electrical failures and implementing preventive measures.
- Maintaining accurate records of inspections and quality control activities in compliance with project requirements.
- Implementing and following established QA/QC procedures in alignment with industry regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles in the pulp & paper industry or a similar industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical inspection and testing techniques.
- Proficiency with electrical testing tools (e.g., multimeters, insulation resistance testers).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical specifications.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Independent work capability and effective management of multiple priorities.
