Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Bicycle Patrol in Oregon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and/or petrochemical location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support site personnel and visitors with clear, professional communication. You will document observations, respond to security-related concerns, and work closely with your team to keep operations running smoothly.

- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, tank farm and/or pipeline corridors, loading and unloading zones, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and security-related equipment such as gates, badge readers, cameras, and alarm panels, reporting irregularities and/or maintenance needs through the proper channels.
- Complete timely security-related reports and logs, including incident reports, patrol activity, and visitor and/or contractor entries, and communicate updates to supervisors and site leadership.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
