Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in John Day, OR. This is a great opportunity for travel nurses or Oregon-based RNs who are passionate about rural healthcare and looking for a supportive team in a peaceful, close-knit community.
Position Overview:As a Registered Nurse, you’ll deliver hands-on care and clinical support to a variety of patient populations. You’ll collaborate with providers and fellow nurses to ensure the highest standard of care is provided in an acute or long-term care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient progress
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Document care accurately in EMRs
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team
Follow all facility protocols and regulatory requirements
Requirements:Current BLS (ACLS, PALS may be required depending on unit)
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in acute care or relevant unit
Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently in a rural hospital setting
