PACU Registered Nurse in Irrigon

Deliver expert nursing care in the perioperative setting, supporting patients through every phase of their surgical journey. This role involves providing skilled nursing services in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to ensure the highest quality outcomes. As a registered nurse in the post‑anesthesia care unit (PACU), you will serve as a patient advocate and collaborate closely with the healthcare team, while also overseeing assigned personnel.

This is a contract opportunity based in Irrigon, OR.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care during preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
• Utilize the nursing process, standards of care, policies, and procedures to deliver quality patient care.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring safety and comfort throughout surgical experiences.
• Supervise and direct any personnel assigned to your care area.
• Collaborate with the Unit Nurse Manager, House Supervisor, or RN Team Leader.
• Participate in on‑call rotation as required.
• Flexibly support other departments by providing nursing care when qualified, helping maintain a seamless patient experience.

• Current, valid RN licensure.
• Experience in perioperative nursing, especially in post‑anesthesia care.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to handle on‑call responsibilities.

• Shift: 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
