Position: Manual Machinist III
Location: Clackamas, OR
Pay: $35.00 – $44.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Who We Are:Hilton Tool is a manufacturer of precision machined components specializing in close tolerance parts, assemblies, prototyping, production runs, and CAD design. We are expanding to a second location in Clackamas, Oregon, and are seeking skilled professionals to join our growing team.
What You'll Do:- Develop plans to manufacture parts according to drawing specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and GD&T requirements
- Set up and operate manual mills and lathes (primary focus on lathes)
- Set up tooling and fixtures for each job
- Monitor production processes and adjust as needed
- Inspect parts throughout production using precision measuring tools
- Hold tight tolerances of ± .001
- Perform final inspection per drawing specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Troubleshoot and solve machining challenges proactively
- Competitive pay: $35.00 – $44.00 per hour
- Monday–Thursday schedule (3-day weekends)

- Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, speeds, and feeds
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T
- Ability to calculate proper feeds and speeds
- Experience using height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to workplace safety standards
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to hold tolerances of ± .001
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for the entire shift
- Strong machine shop math skills
- Experience in precision manufacturing environments
- Experience with prototyping and production runs
- Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to share knowledge
