CNC Machinist

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Machinist role in Wood Village, OR. • Operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce parts to tight tolerances.

• Set up machines, load tooling, and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance and part accuracy.

• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.

• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.

• Perform routine maintenance on machines and keep work areas clean and organized.

• Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with team members to resolve production challenges.

• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including setup sheets and inspection records.

• Follow safety procedures and ensure adherence to company quality standards and production schedules.

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or technical certification preferred.

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience, specifically with both milling and turning operations.

• Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Flexibility to work swing shift and occasional overtime as needed.

• Familiarity with G-code, M-code, and CNC programming/editing is a plus.
