KeyResponsibilities:
- Assemble and installmechanical, hydraulic, and electrical componentson heavy machinery and equipment.
- Read and interpretblueprints, schematics, and assembly instructionsto ensure proper installation.
- Usehand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instrumentsto complete assemblies.
- Performfunctional tests and quality inspectionsto ensure equipment meets specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolvemechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system issuesduring assembly.
- Followsafety protocols and company proceduresto maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate withengineering and quality teamsto improve assembly processes and resolve issues.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace while adhering tolean manufacturing principles.
- Proven experienceas an Assembly Mechanic, Equipment Assembler, or similar role inheavy equipment or industrial manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge ofhydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interprettechnical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Proficiency in usinghand tools, torque wrenches, and measurement equipment.
- Basic understanding ofwelding, machining, or fabricationis a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift50+ lbsand work in a physically demanding environment.
- Technical degree or certificationin Mechanical Assembly, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working withcranes, forklifts, or large industrial machinery.
- Familiarity withLean Manufacturing and continuous improvement processes.
